 Aprilla Race Team Suits-Up to Defend AMA Supermoto Unlimited Titles

Aprilla AMA Supermoto Team and individual champions set to win again in up coming season

New York, March 11, 2008 – Aprilla’s Factory Rip It Energy Fuel Racing team will try to defend the 2007 individual championship when the AMA Supermoto Unlimited series begins at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium on April 11, 2008.

Current individual riders champion Benny Carlson of West Bend, Wisconsin, will compete in the 450 class on board an Aprilla SXV 4.5, while team manager Darryl Atkins of San Clemente, California, will complete in the unlimited class, on board an Aprilla SXV 5.5.

The AMA Supermoto series is a fun family experience that is scheduled to run for 5 months and make a total of ten appearances in cities across the United States.  AMA Supermoto enthusiasts living near San Diego; Seattle; Los Angeles; Hartford, Connecticut; Shawano, Wisconsin; Tooele, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada, the other three sites for the remaining races has been finalized yet.  Mark on your calendar the date when the AMA Supermoto comes to a city near you, pack up the kids and wife and drop by for a cold one.
